Elena Myers
At only 14 years old, Elena has impressed many with her speed and maturity at such a young age. She started riding and racing at the age of eight, quickly progressing from pocketbikes to mini-bikes to Supermoto bikes with the help of her parents, Anita and Matt. At age 11, Elena raced a 125cc GP bike for the first time and won the race!
In 2006, Elena raced the USGPRU National Series on a 125 with help from
Roadracingworld.com and John Ulrich, with classic battles at the front of the field all season long. During the season, Elena caught the attention of Kawasaki marketing managers, and was offered a support program and an opportunity to participate in company PR activities. In 2007, with support from
Roadracingworld.com and Kids:
Don't Smoke!, she had podium finishes at the Portland and Streets of Willow
rounds of the USGPRU National 125GP Series. For 2008, the ninth-grader is racing her Roadracingworld.com and Kids: Don't Smoke!-sponsored Kawasaki ZX-6R in WERA West and select WERA National events.
