Scott Harwell

Scott Harwell – Crew Chief

Scott came to Team Roadracingworld.com Suzuki with over a dozen years of road racing experience and over 14 championships between WERA, CCS and Formula USA. He turned that racing experience to good use as a mechanic when he joined the team in 2006 to work with Chris Ulrich.

Scott started racing in 1994, and focused exclusively on endurance racing until he started sprint racing in 2000, where he found success riding for several Suzuki-supported teams. In August of 2005, Harwell crashed at Summit Point Raceway, breaking his leg and dislocating his hip. In 2006, he had a total hip replacement, and decided that he would give up racing in favor of wrenching, though he still rides as an instructor at a trackday/riding school.

For 2010, Scott is the Crew Chief for Santiago Villa.
